Bulley & Andrews ran their entire pursuit pipeline, covering bid tracking, project creation and vendor management, on Salesforce across two divisions (BAMR and BACR). With 200+ users, per-seat licensing costs were significant and growing. The platform lacked the AI-native capabilities their teams needed to scale, and division-specific data governance was either missing or gated behind expensive customisation. The Core team had already given up and moved to Google Sheets.
What Attri Built
OpenCRM is a self-hosted, open-source Salesforce replacement deployed on Bulley & Andrews' own GCP tenant. Phase 1 shipped as a production-grade replacement for BAMR and BACR, with a three-phase roadmap for AI agents and company-wide rollout.
- Division-aware pursuit tracker with auto-sequential job numbering and stage-gate workflow engine
- Bi-directional Procore integration: pursuit creation auto-provisions Procore projects, and stage changes sync in both directions
- Boss ERP integration: awarded pursuits automatically create projects in accounting and time-tracking
- Google Workspace integration across Gmail, Calendar and Sheets, with read-only sync for the Core / Nashville teams
- Google SSO with role-based access control across all divisions
- Full Salesforce data migration for BAMR and BACR: pursuits, stage history, field values, metadata
- 9 core UI screens: Kanban board, pipeline views, record pages, standard report library, admin tools
Delivery Approach
Phased rollout. Phase 1 is the Salesforce replacement live today. Phase 2 introduces AI agents for bid intake automation and natural-language querying of the pursuit database. Phase 3 expands to full contact management and a Google Chat agent. Attri's maintenance agreement covers 5 hours/month of engineering support, cloud hosting, security monitoring, and automated backups.
The Outcome
Per-seat licensing eliminated across the migrated divisions. Bulley & Andrews now own the platform, not a subscription
Two divisions consolidated onto one platform. BAMR and BACR now operate from the same pursuit database, ending the previous fragmentation
Zero data left behind, with a complete Salesforce migration and full history preserved
AI-native by design. Phase 2 agents ship into the same platform the team is already using, avoiding a second migration when AI features come online
The customer-value payload
OpenCRM turned Bulley & Andrews' fastest-growing operating cost (Salesforce per-seat licensing across 200+ users) into a one-time build, while giving them an AI-native platform their team already knows how to use for the features shipping in Phase 2.
