Python Developer

Our engineering team is growing and we are looking to bring on board a Software Engineer - Python who can help us transition to the next phase of the company. As we roll out our platform to customers, you will contribute to the continuous growth of the Organisation.

On the platform, we use Python (ML-related jobs), and ReactJS (user-facing). The platform is 100% cloud-native.

By joining our team, you will get exposure to working across a swath of modern technologies while building an enterprise-grade ML platform in the most promising area.

Responsibilities

• Understanding the Low level design and translating into Python development code base, build documentation, suggest optimal ways of achieving efficiency.
• Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
• You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application; therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Qualifications

Work Experience

• 2+ years of industry experience (2+ years in development with Python Programming) preferably with some exposure in leading remote development teams in the past.
• Exposure/Understanding of building large-scale, high-throughput, low-latency production systems.
• Experience in at least one popular Python framework (like Django, Flask etc)
• Worked with relational as well as non-relational databases in a production environment.
• Exposure to Caching, and Indexing mechanisms.
• (Bonus: working with langchain or OpenAI APIs).
• (Bonus: Used Python programming for AI/ML project)

Skills

• Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies (like HTML, Javascript)
• Good problem-solving skills
• Understanding of Micro-service architecture
• Good documentation skills.
• Strong independent contributor as well as a team player.
